From the 2026 vintage, this wine will be called "Geheim," referring to the winemaker’s secret when he crafted this delicious Rosé.
Chenin Blanc Rosé 2026:
We began producing this special batch of 'Dry Chenin Blanc Rosé' in 2024 at the request of Den Anker, the world famous Belgian restaurant nestled at the foot of Table Mountain in Cape Town and decided it deserved its own bottling. It is delightfully fresh, showcasing vibrant minerality. Aged for eight weeks in red wine barrels previously used for our MooiBly Tannat, it offers a subtle hint of oak and a beautiful pinkish hue.
1,536 bottles were bottled on 29 June 2026 by our winemaker, Jaco Brand, of which a small quantity is still available at R110 per bottle.
Muscat d'Alexandrie 2025
Jaco Brand, our wine maker, made this sweet wine is made from natural dried grapes. 2 Ton of hanepoot grapes were dried in an open field behind the wine cellar on straw for just over 2 weeks. From this 2000 kilo we got 450 liters, which were stored in a new American and new Fresh oak barrel for 3 months. On the 13th of June this remarkable sweet wine, with overall sweet orange flavors, was bottled.
